My Glastonbury ’emergency’ pack

Three days to go until we leave for Glastonbury- it’s an exciting time! I’ve got to the stage now where I’m packing and repacking, repeatedly! This happens every year. I can guarantee I will do it at least another five times between now and Tuesday night.

I’m running out of bloggable days before I go now and have so much to say on Glastonbury.

I thought that today I would just share this with you. This is my Glastonbury ’emergency’ pack which is being housed in the plastic (and therefore waterproof) bag that my Heat Holders blanket came in.

The reason that emergency is in inverted commas is because it also contains a lot of non-urgent stuff as well, like my make up!

Despite this, there are actually some essentials in there too. I’ve listed my entire emergency pack below, just in case you are wondering what you might have forgotten.

  • Paracetamol
  • Ibuprofen
  • Solpadeine
  • Alka Selzer
  • Deodorant
  • Make up wipes
  • Razors
  • Suntan lotion
  • After sun
  • Baby wipes
  • Anti-histamines
  • Torch
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Plasters
  • Matches/lighter (even if you don’t smoke, you may want one to light a fire)
  • Masking tape (useful for unexpected holes in tent and any number of other possible disasters!)
  • Mini shampoo and conditioner (I only use this on the years we have a real heatwave. If you are going to wash your hair then don’t do it right in front of the taps!)
  • Dry shampoo
  • Make up
  • Tissues
  • Hand sanitiser
  • Kirby grips
  • Hair bands
  • A pen (just in case)
  • Hair brush
  • Body moisturiser
  • Face moisturiser

Is there anything else you think should be on my list (other than camping equipment and clothes which will be covered in separate posts)?
