This is a bit of a post out of the ordinary for me. It is my first review of a non-travel product. But don’t worry, I’m not going off piste too much…
One of the things that bugs me before I go away on holiday is my skin. I have awful dry skin on my face but I am also prone to breakouts. My foundation will sometimes collect around the dry skin on my face and it just looks awful.
I also suffer from eczema on my upper back and tend to get really itchy and flaky skin there. It is so unpleasant.
So when Dermatique UK very kindly offered to send me their Recuperating Cream ahead of my forthcoming trip to Glastonbury, I jumped at the chance.
I have high hopes for this cream. The Dermatique brand was started by a couple whose daughter suffered from eczema and so struggled to find skincare products that she could use. I hope that this means that the Recuperating Cream will work wonders on my face.
The Recuperating Cream is billed as being perfect for anyone with dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Best of all, it can be used anywhere on your body including the face meaning there shouldn’t be any need to have a separate face cream too. This is a real bonus for travelling when you are limited to 10 liquid items for hand luggage and possibly don’t want to lug lots of heavy creams around anyway!
Starting from tonight, I’m going to use it every day, keep a diary and post a full review in a week. I’ll keep you posted but hopefully it is going to help make my skin Glastonbury ready.
